Preconstruction

A well-managed project begins before construction starts. Summit approaches preconstruction as a critical phase for aligning design, budget, schedule, and buildability before work begins in the field. That process includes preliminary budgeting, constructability review, scope refinement, trade bidding, schedule development, long-lead planning, and evaluation of existing conditions. The goal is to reduce surprises, support better decision-making, and establish a clear path into construction.

Because Ron remains directly involved throughout, architects and clients work with the same builder during both planning and execution. That continuity helps maintain alignment between design intent and construction realities, while allowing practical decisions to be made early, with a clear understanding of cost, sequencing, and field conditions.

Construction

During construction, Summit provides direct oversight of scheduling, trade coordination, execution, quality control, cost management, and project communication through completion. The work is closely managed in the field, with attention to sequencing, detailing, and the standard of finish expected in architect-driven residential projects.

Clients, architects, engineers, and consultants work directly with Ron throughout the process, without layers of project management separating the builder from the work itself. That structure supports clearer communication, more consistent decision-making, and closer control over both workmanship and outcome. Summit intentionally limits the number of projects underway at one time so each project receives sustained attention and close day-to-day oversight.
